What Sauce of TCG is, and how it works
Sauce of TCG watches the deal monitors for sealed trading card product and publishes a page for every listing they find, plus a guide to the set each product opens into. This page explains where the information comes from, what we do not do, and how the site is paid for.
How products get here
A monitor watches the retailer for sealed card product and posts what it finds. Every one of those posts becomes a page here. Nothing is selected by hand and nothing is paid for placement. There are 13 listings on the site right now across 6 games, and 6 sets written up.
A product page carries only what the monitor captured: the title, the picture, the price it was posted at and the price it was posted against. The set guides are separate, written from published card data rather than from the deal post.
What we do. Record the price a listing was posted at against the price it was posted against, group products by the set they open into, and write up what that set contains and which cards it is opened for.
What we do not do. We do not open sealed product, grade cards, or value your collection. No page here describes a pull we made, because we have not made one. We do not publish a score, and we do not guarantee a card is still worth what the last reading said.
What the figures mean
Every price on the site is the figure the monitor read when it posted the deal, stamped with the time it was posted. A discount percentage is always the difference between that price and the price the same listing was posted against — never a comparison against a recommended retail price we have invented, and never a claim about the lowest price a product has ever carried.
Where a post carried no previous price, no percentage is shown. Where a card has not been priced yet, the set page shows a dash rather than a zero. Every section carries a line naming where its figures came from.
How the site is paid for
Sauce of TCG earns a commission when a reader buys through a link on the site, including through the Amazon Associates programme. The commission is paid by the retailer and does not change the price you pay. It does not influence which products are covered, because that selection is automatic.

Corrections
Sealed prices move and card values move faster. If a figure on the site is wrong, tell us and it will be corrected or the page pulled. Every page shows when its price was posted, so you can judge how fresh it is. Write to hello.sauceoftcg@gmail.com.
