Ascended Heroes

Ascended Heroes is a Pokémon special Mega Evolution set released in January 2026. It features the Johto starters as Mega Pokémon ex: Mega Meganium, Mega Feraligatr and Mega Emboar lead the ex boxes. As a special set it has no booster box, so Elite Trainer Boxes and Booster Bundles are the sealed product to track.

The set's top cards include Pikachu ex as a special illustration rare at $963.86, Mega Gengar ex as a special illustration rare at $884.54, Mega Dragonite ex as a special illustration rare at $602.19, Mega Charizard Y ex as a Mega Hyper Rare at $363.68, a second Pikachu ex special illustration rare at $320.41, and Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex as a special illustration rare at $288.46.

The Elite Trainer Box holds 9 booster packs plus a full-art promo card, 65 card sleeves, energy cards, dice, condition markers and a storage box. The Booster Bundle holds 6 booster packs with no accessories and is the cheapest way to open a fixed number of packs. Mega ex Boxes hold a promo Mega Pokémon ex, an oversized card and 4 booster packs, Three-Booster Blisters hold 3 booster packs and a foil promo card, and tins and collection boxes hold 4–8 packs with the same packs as loose retail packs; the Elite Trainer Box suits a collector, while the Booster Bundle suits someone opening packs.
